Dr Asifa Farhat

NEONATAL & GENERAL PAEDIATRICIAN

She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Before finishing her training at Perth Children’s Hospital  she had worked at major paediatric hospitals on the eastern seaboard including the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in Sydney, the Royal children’s hospital in Brisbane and Mater Mothers and Mater Children’s Hospital Brisbane. Currently she is working as a Consultant Paediatrician at St John of God Hospital Murdoch and Joondalup Health Campus in General Paediatrics and Paeditric section of the emergency department.

She is part of the Origin project for Telethon Kids Institute which is the largest study of its kind in Australia, following thousands of children to improve child and adult health. Her area of interest include acute paediatrics, neonatology, and general paediatrics. She loves spending time with her family and cats, she also has a strong passion for reading and travelling.
