Development Patient Referral

Our Process for Developmental Assessments

1. GP Letter required with as much details as possible.
2. We print all referrals and hand it to our Head Paediatrician for triage.
3. Our secretary will then make contact within 7 days after the referral was received to gather some more information if needed and to provide details of the waitlist and next steps.
4. We then provide you with an email containing all the forms and documents required for us to set up an appointment.
5. We then contact you when we are ready to book.
6. Wait times vary between practitioners and are dependent on their availability.
7. Average wait time for all developmental appointments are 3-6 months.  

Developmental Appointment Costs

Costs for the initial assessment ranges from $1500-$2500 depending upon the needs of the child and the type of assessment. Telehealth appointments would incur a fee of $200 and are vary rarely offered or suggested.
